Boating

Some are most at rest when out on water.

 “Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Matthew 14:29

Boating either sets you at ease or will rock your world.  As a fisherman, Peter, always felt most comfortable in his boat. Several times Jesus had to call peter out of the boat he was comfortable in to be a fisher of men. The most dramatic was when Jesus called Peter to step out of his boat and walk out on the water to Him. 

At camp to use our boats we need certified waterfront lifeguards.  If you already have this certification or are wanting to get it and would like to offer your time for our Summer Camps please let us know.
